Life is Opportunity. And this is your chance to own the award-winning moment that captured judges' hearts.

Picture yourself wandering through Istanbul's ancient streets, where Europe meets Asia and every doorway tells a thousand-year story. Now imagine capturing the exact moment when that history intersects with pure human possibility: a hand reaching toward an ornate door, ready to step into whatever lies beyond, or out in the wild.

This is “Life is opportunity,” and it's now available as a stunning limited-edition print from the Collection series.

This isn't just any photograph. It's the image that secured second place in Fujifilm's “Life As You See It” 2025 photography competition, chosen from thousands of submissions by a distinguished panel including Instagram heavyweight Mr Whisper (Bal Bhatla). When someone whose client roster includes Disney, Netflix, and BMW recognises your work, you know you've created something special.

The judges were drawn to what they called its “simplicity, symmetry and sense of curiosity“: how the pairing of image and word took on “deeper meaning, inviting the viewer to imagine what lies beyond the frame“. That's the power of authentic storytelling in photography.

Captured during my extensive Istanbul photographic journey (featured in my hardcover and digital Istanbul book), this image embodies much of what I love about the city. The doorway showcases exquisite Islamic geometric patterns carved into rich wood, framed by centuries-old stone architecture that has witnessed the rise and fall of empires. But it's that small blue-sleeved hand reaching for the handle that transforms architectural documentation into a universal metaphor.

Currently exhibiting at the prestigious Fujifilm House of Photography in London's Covent Garden, the UK's first photography experience centre, this piece sits alongside work from photographers worldwide who've earned international recognition.

Printed on museum-grade Hahnemühle Pearl paper, every nuance comes alive: the intricate wooden door patterns, the weathered stone textures, the subtle interplay of shadow and light that makes Istanbul such a photographer's paradise. The paper's subtle pearl-gloss effect adds depth whilst ensuring exceptional detail reproduction and outstanding age resistance.

Here's why this award-winning limited edition belongs in your collection:

Istanbul has always been a city of doorways, both literal and metaphorical, serving as passages between worlds, cultures, and possibilities. With this photograph, I tried to capture that spirit whilst celebrating the universal human instinct to reach toward new opportunities, regardless of age or circumstance.
The recognition from Fujifilm and exhibition at their London flagship venue places this work within the contemporary photography canon: art that doesn't just document moments, but creates them.

Don't wait. With limited prints available and growing interest following the competition win, this opportunity to own award-winning photographic art won't be here long.
