I offer you a unique photographic experience in my hometown Florence. You can now join me on a Street Photography tour of some of Florence's most beautiful and historic locations. We’ll be exploring the narrow alleyways and the most popular points of interest to find the best photographic opportunities. Did you know that Florence is the city in the world with the most monuments per square mile? Such is the background for your unforgettable experience!
My itinerary covers many options and I will show you how to capture that perfect moment to proudly share on your social media or print and hang on your wall. In fact, it was while I was showing how to take a photo in one of these workshops that I snatched the picture that earned me the Street Photographer of The Year title. So join me, and the next Street PotY may be you!
Here you will learn how to capture stunning images using different techniques to make the most of the light conditions.

The main focus is on Street Photography, but if the conditions are right, we will try to capture the beautiful Florentine sunset behind Ponte Vecchio or from the scenic views of the Piazzale and Fiesole.
Please note that sunset will likely require a tripod, albeit not a heavy studio tripod, which would not be a requirement for Street (a small and light one is still advisable though, something similar to the Platypod or Manfrotto Pixi).
Also note that night conditions may make things difficult for you if you only shoot with a smartphone. A lot is still possible, but not everything (depending on the smartphone model as well).

We will also have breaks for Q&A, analyses of the photos taken during the workshop and a small editing session.

Whether you’re just starting out or are already an expert photographer, I invite you to experience the magical atmosphere of “the most beautiful city in the world” through the medium of your camera lens.

This workshop is intended for all photography levels and equipment, whether you use a DSLR, a mirrorless camera, or simply a smartphone (though it might become challenging for smartphones after sunset). If you plan to participate with a smartphone, please contact me before booking so we can verify whether your model has all the needed features.
This workshop is not indicated for action cameras.

Because of the long walks, the workshop is not recommended for individuals who are not in good fitness conditions. Florence is mainly flat, but the old streets can be uneven, and there are uphill sections as well. There will be breaks to make it easier, of course.
