This is now Episode 5 of my Fujifilm GFX 50S II In Florence mini-series… And this time is a good ol’ vlog. 🙂
If you haven’t watched the rest, here’s the playlist link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PcVN…
In this episode, I take an unbeaten path with the GFX 50S II in Florence to reach a gorgeous viewpoint. So I walk the road on the hills that surround the city and reach Forte Belvedere.
Most tourists climb from the opposite direction, which may be faster but is also steep and tiring… Myself, I like to take it slow to admire (and show you) one of the most beautiful walks in the world. Seriously.
When Fujifilm sent me the GFX 50S II ahead of its release, I started to produce a lot of content. This mini-series on YouTube as well as Instagram posts and reels, TikTok videos, etc. None of which was actually sponsored by Fujifilm! They only asked me to write a post on their blog and produce a handful of photos. The article about my experience with the GFX 50S in Florence is here, by the way: https://fujifilm-x.com/en-gb/stories/…
But I think I got overexcited because I came back from my trip with 10K photos! (bear with me: I shot a lot of time-lapses).
The Video
Anyway, this video is probably my most open talk about the camera. In the relaxed environment of this scenic walk on the hills around Florence, I talked about the things I liked and those I was not too convinced about.
All while showing the magnificence of my hometown.
And if you’re into walking videos, there’s something for you as well. Just make sure you stay until the end for the most gorgeous sunset.
Cheers!
