Only a few days ago, I talked about avoiding problems with Fujifilm X-T4 by keeping it clean (and how to do it). Unfortunately, my camera had plenty other problems that couldn’t be solved by simply removing some dust.
You probably watched a lot of videos about its qualities, but not many cover the Fujifilm X-T4 problems. And I wish I didn’t have to make this video either, but the issues have gone way too far now.
I always had problems with my Fujifilm X-T4, since the release date when it was delivered to me. And today, 7 months, 20K photos and 25+ hours of video later… It’s time to send it back to Fujifilm to have it serviced!
I suppose that talking about the Fujifilm X-T4 problems is the kind of controversial video that will gather a lot of haters. And I’m ready for this. But I felt it was needed. I’m also sharing this video to Fujifilm themselves. So that their engineers can be better informed when they look into these Fujifilm X-T4 problems for me or for any other Fuji photographer.
This won’t be a video that will tell you to not buy the Fujifilm X-T4 or that it is “the biggest disappointment of the year”. Far from it, I loved the camera and to me its benefits were very much worth the upgrade. However, my unit, as well as others, have been haunted with flaws. Something that unfortunately has plagued several cameras, in the past as well, that were part of the first units ready for pre-order.
Maybe you had issues as well. Well, with this video I’m telling you that it’s not you, it’s them 😉
The Video
Now if you want to know my 4 major Fujifilm X-T4 problems (and see a nice day-to-night timelapse), this video is for you. Problems with IBIS, autofocus, etc.
At the end of the video, if you feel for me and want to cheer me up, a click on Subscribe will be very welcome and appreciated 🙌🏻

Thank you all for watching and for your support!
See you next time!
Cheers.
Update Dec 20th.
I received my X-T4 back from Fujifilm Services. The team was very quick and pretty informative in their reply. Although they have not addressed the focus-hunting issue nor replied to the glitchy timelapse. I will test those issues as soon as possible, but hopefully a recalibration was all that was needed to fix my Fujifilm X-T4 problems.
