I was asked by my friend Dot Lung to go live with her and talk about smartphone photography tips and how to make better photos with your phone. We both use iPhones but all we talked about really applies to Android as well. We did not talk about specific apps only available for one platform but actually discussed real examples of taking photos with a phone.
Dot Lung is a fantastic Digital Media Strategist and she always marketed herself as the Mother of Social Media Dragons. A reference to Game Of Thrones of course, but also to Dragons’ Den, as she helps a lot of startups and smaller creators really grow on social media.
As for myself, I photograph with my iPhone a lot. And you may remember from a previous post that I went shooting with only an iPhone for about 4 years before buying my Fuji camera. In that time I also used the iPhone for professional shooting. The lens on this devices has improved over the years so this can certainly be a viable option. Maybe paired with a few accessories, even cheap ones.
We talked for about an hour and covered a lot of different topics. So if you’re looking for good real life smartphone photography tips, this is worth your time!
